Our Guarantee To You

  1. In order to provide peace of mind to clients who are new to us, we guarantee new clients, in writing, that our fee will save them at least $50 ($25 for 1040A or 1040EZ) over what they paid any of the following tax return preparers for their previous year’s tax return:
      • Any preparer who prepared the return as an employee of any of the three largest national tax preparation firms, or
      • Any Certified Public Accountant (a CPA), or
      • Any other person enrolled to practice (an EA) before the IRS.
      • Not valid with any other offer. Valid for returns filed in our office only. When you come into our office, please bring in a copy of your most recent tax return, prepared by any other preparer, as well as the receipt or other evidence of the amount of your payment.
  2. We guarantee that, at any time we are working on your tax return, even up until the return is totally completed, if you are not completely happy, we will return your materials to you so you can go somewhere else to have your tax return prepared.  In that case, you will not have to pay anything at all and we will part friends.
  3. We will assist you in responding to any correspondence you receive relating to a tax return we prepared.
  4. Although every tax return is prepared with the utmost care, it is possible for an error to occur. If, as a result of any error we may make in the preparation of your return, you are charged any penalties or any interest by the Internal Revenue Service or by any state for which we prepared a return, we will reimburse those charges to you. We do not pay for any additional tax that may be incurred, because such tax will be the same number of dollars that you would have had to pay even if no error had been made.
  5. Audit Assistance:
    1. We will provide up to 5 hours of audit preparation assistance at no charge to you. For most normal audits, this should be adequate time to cover all of the work related to the audit as long as all of your receipts and other paperwork are in reasonable order.
    2. These hours will be applied for any of the following:
      1. Reviewing your return for the audit.
      2. Organizing receipts and other paperwork for the audit.
      3. Any follow up required after the audit.
      4. For those who require more time for the above items or any other items related to the audit, we offer a $50 per hour discount off of our regular hourly consulting rates. Our regular rates are $125 per hour from May through December and $175 per hour from January through April. The discounted rate for those whose return we prepared is $75 per hour from May through December and $125 per hour from January through April. Again, the first FIVE hours are at no cost to you.
